Lab Test

United States Department of Agriculture, and State feed agencies:
Maximum allowable total aerobic microbial count (TAMC) at 106 CFU/g

EU regulations:
Salmonella must be entirely absent in 25g of pet food;
Total count of yeasts and molds should not exceed 104 CFU/g

As per the limit given, tested results for the pet food given are within limits, thus it is suitable for pet consumption.

Reason for the presence of Total Aerobic Count and Total Yeast and Mold Count could probably be due to contamination during processing, raw ingredients, storage conditions, packaging materials and quality control. Rest assured, the pet treats are safe for pet consumption.
